Christmas Quiz saw nearly 70 (!!) excited people participate in this festive event.“It was the best attended FVH Christmas Quiz ever” reflected David Barnhill – Resident Quiz Master of over 10 years, “I was really impressed with the turnout & the great atmosphere they created. Many thanks to them for coming out and for their festive dressing for the occasion”.
As well as a great take behind the bar, we had some “cash pot” spot prize winnings donated to the Village Hall – all going towards the New Hall build fund – which is very much appreciated. Thank You.
We were also pleased to host the Playing Fields drawing their Christmas raffle at the event.
As David stated during the evening it takes about 15 volunteers in the background to get events like this prepared including, unpaid bar staff giving up their evening, bar stocking/purchasing, an event set-up team + writing the quiz. All done with enthusiasm to make these events the success they are. So a big “Thanks” to them.
