Frit Club gets them on their feet
The second Frit Club held at the Village Hall on Saturday 13th July, proved once and for all, that there is a place for a serious dance night in the village.
The brain child of ace DJ Carl Barber (aka ‘Carlos the Jakal’), ably supported by DJ Col who collectively work under the banner Fritwell House Mafia had people on their feet much of the night. The occasional Shot Breaks proved very successful with Raspberry Vodka, Rum and Tequila were well supported and the cool tunes just kept on coming.
This is not dance around your handbag stuff but seriously good music played at a reasonable volume in excellent quality, suiting those who want to dance and those who just want to chat and have a great time.
The compact but lively audience spanned a large demographic with plenty of scope for a younger audience to come along and put their moves out there at future events.
Huge thanks to Christine, Mark and Chrissy on the bar and for all who helped clear up afterwards.
