Fritwell Village Hall Post Covid operating
February 2022 – With a return to “Plan A” by the UK Gov, FVH CIO will continue current precautions until 21st Feb then return to a pre-pandemic situation. The need for a Risk Assessment in regard of Covid will be dropped. However we will continue with good practice of cleaning surfaces before use.
September 2021 – FVH Committee have revisited our Covid Risk Assessments and have drafted a simpler Risk Assessment that covers all users. This approved September 2021 Risk Assessment for any Hall User can be downloaded here. It is also available on the Bookings Page along with our Terms of Hire, Leaving the Hall checklist for Hall Hirers & Hall Health & Safety document.
In August 2021 the Committee agreed to: reopen the bar, remove the restrictions on numbers in the kitchen and toilets, remove the barriers, keep the best hygiene practices such as provision of sanitisers & the provision of cleaning materials. Trustees will fulfil their responsibilities to users by retaining signage on social distancing and sanitising, the QR Code, floor markings and cleaning tables and chairs before use at hall run events.
For a summarised list of actions/dates (following guidance from UK Gov & ACRE (Action for Communities in Rural England)) that the Committee took from March 2020 until the present day in regard of the Covid-19 pandemic and how best to protect all hall users please see this document
