Fritwell Village Hall CIO*
A totally voluntary organisation dedicated to facilitating the Fritwell Village Hall space is available for the whole community of Fritwell and local surroundings to be used for events and meetings to the benefit of local residents.
Fritwell Village Hall CIO is a registered charity – UK Charity Commission Number:1194546
* Since 1st January 2022 we have become a CIO – Charitable Incorporated Organisation. This follows all the necessary registration and legal procedures with the Charity Commission and engaging with Fritwell Residents during 2021. Our now superseded first Declaration of Trust Document was dated 6th November 1950.

Hall bookings are operating with normal people limits of 70 seated or 110 standing for hall based events.

Fritwell Village Hall CIO uses personal data for the purposes of managing the running of the village hall, its bookings and finances, running events at the hall and for fundraising activities. We do not disclose, or sell or pass on any personal details to any 3rd parties. If that was to become necessary for any reason we would seek permission from the individual and fully explain the circumstances of why that is necessary,
All future event newsletters or emails will only be sent to those individuals who have given their opted in consent for their data to be kept for this purpose. Those that have subscribed to the occasional “What’s On at FVH” emails or are members of the Cushion Club, did so by consent – by opting in to subscribe to those emails. Every time we send such mailings there is always an option for individuals to un-subscribe from such mailings if they so desire and their email address is removed from the list.

We welcome any offers of assistance, be it as Friend of Fritwell Village Hall who we can contact on an ad-hoc basis to plan, set-up, clear down events or run the bar Thursday nights at our Quiz/Social or do a quiz to give our resident quiz master a break or as a Trustee. You may have other relevant skills like web site design or event marketing or want to put on a community event. Please come forward…
