Live Night 10 (26-Jan-20) Review
For the 45+ audience on a somewhat inclement Sunday night, there was a lot of feedback to say this was the best one yet in what has become a welcome established Sunday evening gathering to enjoy live music from locally sourced talent. Thanks for coming along and particularly to new recruits & audience members.
Carl H & Ian C as the organisers have created a sustained welcoming event and together with Paul W make up the core of Frets and Strings – the house band. Thanks to Mike S for maintaining the sound quality and balance & Christine D for running the bar.
Ian pulled together the “Retired Gentlemen that lunch” club to render a tribute to the late & great Terry Jones – with “Always look on the Bright side of Life“
Please see a selection of photos from the evening with Fin on piano, a new talented musical guest Megan (from Ardley), Jay (from Launton)- loved you getting the audience involved, M4 Connection – Paul, Sandy and Subuhi (from London), Chris & Will (from Bicester & Chesterton resepctively), Simon (from West Wales), Carl H + Ian C and Paul W (Frets and Strings) + Colin (in his alter ego role of the late Adge Cutler – original leader of the Wurzels).
