FVH – First Fancy Dress Halloween Quiz – 30th October 2025 – Review
A Spooktacular evening! 👏😂🧛♀️🧛♂️🧟🧙♂️🧙♀️👏
Quiz goers pulled the stops out, with some scary and funny costumes + some very professional make-up. Judge the costumes for yourself – Photo Gallery below.
This was much much appreciated, as it made the event what we hoped it would be. Thank you to everyone for joining in.
Best fancy dressed “horrors” judged to be Sue S, Jon B and Helen M (see pic below)
Thanks go to Trustees James G for his original idea for this event, hosting on the night and generating the Quiz rounds; Colin S for poster and coordinating hall decoration; Helen M for stepping in last minutes & printing posters when our print supplier’s machine went down. Christine D and Colin S on the bar. The Hall Quiz set up team on the night (Ian C, Jon B, Duncan C, John K, Mick S, Kirsten PG & Colin S) + Cass MJ for all their donated Halloween hall decorations.
I was surprised to learn just how many Fritwellian’s actually do have skeletons in the cupboard (?) – by the number that quiz goers who brought them to the quiz!? 😂😂
We hope to make this an annual special quiz event, along with our very well supported annual Christmas Quiz 🎅🎄🤶 (this year Thurs 18th Dec 8pm quiz start)
Back to regular quiz nights for now.
Thanks again to ALL Quiz Goers 👏😂🧛♀️🧛♂️🧟🧙♂️🧙♀️👏- Fritwell Village Hall Trustees
