Fritwell Live Night – 7.30pm Sunday 29th September 2019 – Review
After such lousy weather we thought it may affect turnout. But we were wrong – great audience support. It just goes to show that Live music does have a pull! With performers of all ages – it was another excellent evening.
Well done to Carl H, Ian C, Mike S for organising/sound. All players – young and older – particularly Becky’s piano students, a welcome back to Jay plus the now well established House Band – Frets and Strings + thanks to Christine D and David for running the bar.
Please see below some photos of those playing and those listening + some vids from Rob J. I look forward to receiving other people’s photos or videos.
Here’s a list of the playing artists:
Evie – piano (Tango Passionis)
Sophie – piano (Theme from the Pink Panther)
Fin – Piano (Passions)
Emily – Piano (Sarah)
Jenny and Carl
Ian – with his very amusing poem dedicated to Fritwell’s newly weds Mel + Rob
Ian, Paul, Shaun and Carl – Frets and Strings
Frets & Strings + Mick & Col
More Live Nights…
The next Live night is expected in wither November or December 2019 – more info when the date is fixed. Don’t forget…
You don’t have to play – simply come along enjoy a drink (the bar will be open) and listen to the musical talent on show. There’s also some humour – which will bring a smile to your face.
It’s a lovely way to spend a couple of hours relaxing on a Sunday evening.
If you want to participate musically, for more info please contact Ian-345106 or Carl-346403 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Look forward to seeing you there…
