Fritwell Village Hall Further Hall Opening Update (April 2021)
From 12th April 2021 up to 21st June 2021 (at the earliest) given no changes are mandated by UK Gov re Lockdown easing stages, we have generated and acted upon two Risk Assessments* to enable us to one, open the hall and two provide a template for events to occur in a Covid safe manner in the hall under reduced events attendance numbers (Max 24 people). The Hall has received a Deep Clean including an anti-viral misting treatment which offers 28-day protection. It now also has one way entry and exit pathways marked and is fully signed for Covid safe operation with managed entry to the toilets and kitchen plus multiple hand sanitiser stations and after toilet use cleaning spray and tissues + bins.
From 17th May (at the earliest) we are able to consider outside events in our field with minimum access to the hall. These will be considered on a case basis by the Bookings Secretary/Committee as they are requested and may require a Risk Assessment from the prospective Hirer to ensure a Covid safe operation. Under current rules this will be for a maximum of 30 people (outside only).
Please go here if you want to view the 2 Risk Assessments (Opening the Hall and Events) that we generated and have acted upon to re-open the hall.
After the 21st June (at the earliest) given no changes are mandated by UK Gov – requests for Hall bookings will return to normal with normal people limits of 70 seated or 110 standing for hall based events.
