Hourly Rate for Hires (beyond 4 hours) – £5

(Example: Evening party where access to the hall is required from 5pm to set up and where the hall will be vacated by 12pm will cost £45)
All private hirers will be asked to provide a cheque deposit of £50 to cover any damage or excess cleaning that may be required following hire. Once keys have been returned and the hall has been checked the cheque will be returned to the hirer uncashed.
All hirers must state a time from which they wish to occupy the hall to the time when they will leave the hall at the time of booking.
In the case of weekend parties, hirers may return to the hall the following morning, free of charge, to tidy and clean up. However, this must be carried out before 10.30am to permit further hires.
All hirers must take any empty glass bottles to the bottle bank for recycling. There is a bottle bank conveniently located at the King’s Head Public House on East Street.
Although the hall is licenced, this is only for events run by the Village Hall Committee. Temporary licences can occasionally be granted for private events with ’pay bars’ at a charge of £100. Permission must be sought from the committee before applying for a licence for an event.

Paddingtons runs from 10 till 12 on Tuesdays during term time, and the hall will be available from 1pm
